Breitling’s latest creation, the Super Chronomat, strikes the perfect balance between sturdy and stylish. Inspired by the Frecce Tricolori watch created by Breitling in 1983 for the highfliers of the Italian Air Force aerobatic fleet, it is robust enough to handle sporting pursuits but polished enough to handle more refined occasions. The Super Chronomat challenges the elite of the all-purpose sports watches and is an exemplary illustration of Breitling’s spirit of innovation.

STRENGTH AND STYLE
The Super Chronomat is the boldest of all Chronomat watch collections. With a 44mm case it has been designed to meet the requirements of both strength and style. Rider tabs offer protection for the sapphire crystal, with those at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock being interchangeable to allow flexibility with countdowns as well as countups. Exciting new features include the stainless-steel bezel with ceramic insert, the first of its kind on a Chronomat. There is also the choice of either a Rouleaux-inspired rubber strap or the iconic metal strap with butterfly clasp. The rubber strap has been created with remarkable attention to detail using state-of-the-art injection moulding techniques that result in three well defined textures that grant the strap incredible depth and character.

EMBRACING THE LIFE OF THE MODERN ADVENTURER
Breitling first introduced the Chronomat in 1984, marking the return of the mechanical Swiss timepiece following an era dominated by Quartz watches. The significant dimensions of this technical feat challenged the slight proportions of its Quartz rivals and the Chronomat became the ultimate sports watch of its time upon which the brand built its legacy. Now Breitling builds upon its global reputation as a pioneer in the development of the original wrist chronograph, with a high-precision chronograph that embraces the life of the modern adventurer seeking chic design aesthetics and a supercharged all-purpose watch.
