Oris’s latest high-performance limited edition diver’s watch is the third model made in support of the Coral Restoration Foundation, an organisation that brings change to the world’s ocean. There are two options in terms of the strap, one being a stainless steel bracelet, and the other in an orange ‘coral’ coloured rubber, both with an extendable stainless steel clasp.
It has a GMT function, and can show the time in three time zones simultaneously, using the 24hour scale laser-engraved into the ceramic bezel. It has a power reserve of 42 hours, and is water resistant up to 300m, making it a great piece for sports and every day wear. Engraved on the casing you will find imagery of Coral adding to its charm, and each watch is presented in a special box made using sustainable algae. TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf Calibre 11
TAG Heuer’s ties to motor racing are extensive, with the sport being integrated into its DNA throughout the past 160 years of the brand’s history. The TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf is named after the city of Monaco and is an homage to one of the most famous street races that is held there. If this wasn’t enough to truly solidfy the union of luxury watch making and motorsports, the TAG Heuer Monaco was also the timepiece of choice for Steve McQueen and ultimately made it into the 1970’s racing film ‘Le Mans’ in which the actor starred in. Hublot’s reputation for creating highly innovative timepieces with advanced technology precedes them, and their Big Bang E Black Ceramic timepiece is the perfect example of their blend of traditional watchmaking in a contemporary way and is a smartwatch that is powered with Wear OS by Google. What is truly special about this timepiece, is that every three hours, the dial changes colour, resulting in eight new ‘looks’ throughout the day and each full hour a 5 second animation will appear.
